Blackout Postpones Movie Discussion

Blackout in building one FIB UNS postponed  Movie Discussion that was held on November 27, 2019.

Movie Discussion is one of Research and Development EDCOM Division’s work programs that is consistently held twice a month.

Blackout suddenly happened while the committees prepared for the Movie Discussion. Without electricity, this event could not be held. It made the committees afraid whether this event could be held that day or not. 25% of the participants left this event because they thought the electricity would not turn on for an hour.

“Blackout is the most horrible problem we had that day. It made our event did not go well. We were panicked that day.”, Sekar as the committee of the event.

All participants and the committees were waiting for fifteen minutes but the electricity would not turn on, then the committee asked for a help to the staff, Nur,  to turn on the generator.

“We could hold this event after asking Nur to turn on the generator, even we almost ran out the time.“, Sekar added.

After the electricity turns back on, the event continued to be held around 14.30 even though only 75% of participants attended.
