Qis'ar Holds Arabic Fair In UNS

Arabic Fair was an annual event held by Qis'ar on September 26 – 28, 2019. This event had taken place at UNS areas such as Lembah Teknik, Faculty of cultural sciences, UNS Library Werkudara Seminar room, and Faculty of Teacher Training and Education.

The event brought spreading middle-east culture to Nusantara as the theme. This event held many contests for two days aimed to develop the ability to speak in Arabic. These contests were categorized into three categories, there are students, student-college, and public. The peak event was holding national talk-show on the last day and presenting Pandji Pragiwaksono as the speaker. This talk-show discussed the opinion of being proud of the creations.

“ I hope this event will increase fair competition among all students and public and also to strengthen the solidarity among students”, Vevia said

Andreas Wegiq Adia Hendix is an honor student who rises Sebelas Maret University to Korea. He and his team, Enuma Technology brought bronze medal for his invention named SO-LI Sense on November 25, 2019. Ida Kusuma Dewi : Being Lecturer Is Not My Dream

Ida Kusuma Dewi was born on May 25, 1971, in Magetan. She said that being a lecturer was not her dream, but now she is the lecturer of the English Department, Faculty of Cultural Sciences Sebelas Maret University. To be a lecturer was her mother’s wish for her and it was not what she wanted. She loved teaching for children so much. She was a mentor of elementary school and she wanted to be a kindergarten teacher. Until her mother told her that she wanted Ida to become a lecturer.
